This is a Zickos tom 10"x14" (10" Deep x 14" Drum Head Size) rack tom that has been converted into a floor tom. It has 3 Zickos Floor Tom leg mounts on the shell. It still has the rack tom mount, as well. This can be used as either a rack tom or a 14" floor tom. A really cool and versatile tom. No cracks that I can see. There are some scratches on the acrylic shell.

The bottom metal hoop had some pretty serious rust and a bend at one spot (see images). I cleaned it and killed the rust that was present. The top metal hoop has some slight oxidation, pitting and rust. Both hoops still seat well and tighten down on the heads. Thick acrylic shells approximately 1/4". Evans drum heads top and bottom.

This is a "good" condition listing due to the bottom hoop having a considerable amount of rust.

All-in-All this is a great drum that sounds amazing. This drum is very heavy and will be packaged well, insured with signature required.

"Zickos shaped his shells by hand in molds after heating them in a pizza type industrial oven. Some critics say that by baking the acrylic, rather than pulling them into cylinders, gave the Zickos kits their clarity.

The unusual design of the rack tom holders allowed shells to resonate, sending the vibrations down the tube to the bass drum, which in concert with the rack toms gave the kit such a presence in any room. Both tom holders were specifically cut in different lengths which helped with tuning the twin rack toms within a 3rd of each other.
